Simple Symphony
La Bottega dell’Armonia (Harmony Workshop) was
formed in 2000. The orchestra has performed on numerous
occasions and won several first prizes in national competitions.
The group comprises a junior orchestra of musicians
aged 6 to 15 years old and a senior group of gifted orchestra
players (aged 17 to 23), and it is the senior group who is performing
today as part of the London Sangerstevne festival.
Ottavio De Lillo Polyphonic Chorus is a vocal
ensemble based in Bari, Southern Italy. The choir sings “a
cappella” or accompanied with musical instruments. Its main
objective is the discovery, study and performance of works
from the choral repertoire ranging from the 19th century to
the contemporary, and they have a special interest in modern
works originated in Apulia, Italy.
Bepi Speranza studied Composition, Orchestration,
Choral Music and Choir and Orchestra Conducting. Over the
years he has conducted over 250 concerts in France, Italy,
Germany, Austria and Tunisia, and recorded for RAI, Radio
France, BBC Television and various record companies in
Tokyo, Paris and Milan. As a composer he is very much in
demand and his works are performed in Italy and abroad. He
also teaches at the Niccolò Piccinni Conservatoire in Bari.
